The first "knol" i found that caught my interest was about the brain and memory, i really like how it used pictures to help show what they are talking about. In this article it talks about how the mind works and the different types of memory etc. i really enjoyed reading this.

The second "knol" i found that caught my interest was about the evolution of the song "we're off to see the wizard" from the wizard of oz. I found it really really cool because Ive always wondered what this song meant and how they came up with it etc, and this article really helped me understand it.

The article i found was about how the employment increased by 216,000 in March, and the unemployment rate had little change. Jobs are opening up in the business services, health care, leisure and hospitatliy and mining fields. I think that people could really find some sort of job is they really really tried, the problem is that most jobs need a college degree and there a lot of people that didn't go to college and they are paying for it now. I think that it should be a wakeup call to the teenagers now that college is a must. your future may depend on it.

The article i found was about Lima High School allowing cell phone usage. Students are allowed to use their cell phones before and after school and during lunch, people with smart phones may use theirs during class to look things up on the internet. I don't agree with the fact that if you have a smart phone you are allowed to use your phone more then people without smart phones. I think that, that to some people that would make them feel on a lower standard then others. Students are obviously already allowed to use their phones before and after school so i don't think that is going to make much of a difference. But i do kind of like the idea of allowing cell phone usage during lunch. I think that could do some good to at least give students a chance to have their phones out at some point during the day without getting in trouble. I think that giving students a chance to freely use their phones during the day would cut down on trouble, maybe not a lot but a little bit.

The article that i read above was about studies that were done proving that maltitasking will take a toll on your memory. In the age of technology that we live in we are always multitasking. but according to studies this isnt healthy..
