The news article that i found this week was about a thirteen month old baby boy named Joseph Maraachili who was in a Canadian Hospital. He was on life support and the Canadian hospital was getting ready to take him off of life support. Joseph was rescued by the national director of Priests for life and Taken to the U.S for treatment. Joseph is currently being kept alive by a respirator and was recently denied a transfer to a Michigan Hospital to undergo a tracheotomy.
I think that the fact that a hospital would even concider taking a baby off life support makes me sick. Babies are helpless and hospitals are suppose to take care of them. This kinda makes me glad to be an american because if it wasn't for the U.S that baby would be dead. And he can be saved, and i pray that god is with that baby and gets him through this. My heart goes out that Joseph and his family. <3
I would wonder what would happen if Joseph would undergo tracheotomy treatment.
